"Truth Only" Album Release Party - XL the Truth

Posted on January 20, 2018 at 6:20 PM Comments comments (0)

If you were in Woodbridge, VA the night of January 19, 2018 all roads led to The Palace. Virginia’s very own, XL the Truth held his first album release party for “Truth Only”! Those in attendance made it known that they supported both XL’s music and movement. XL performed one of his singles Henny & Pain and brought out special guest Beanie Sigel! You can hear the crowd singing “I hope this Henny take the pain away”!

XL the Truth interacted with all his supporters before blessing the stage, and that is something that is very rare; we don’t normally see artists do that.

Tony Redz of WPGC’s 95.5 was in attendance and hosted the release party. Dj Inc kept the party going with great selections of music!

The “Truth Only” album release party was a success and we look forward to witnessing what XL the Truth does next!

2018 Virginia Hip-Hop/Rap Artists on the Rise

Posted on January 16, 2018 at 3:35 PM Comments comments (0)

It has only been 16 days into the new year, but that doesn't stop the public from noticing artists who are putting in work and grinding non stop! The DMV has a lot of great talent in regards to the music scene. However, the state of Virginia is often times overlooked when we speak about up and coming artists.

There is no particular order as to which artist is number 1, 2, 3, and so on. This is just an overview and highlight of Hip-Hop/Rap artists who are distributing quality work and their projects speak for themselves.

Who else should we be on the look out for?
